Job description

We are working on behalf of a leading LNG producer who are currently looking for an Senior LNG Contract Negotiator (MSPA / CN Focus) to join their Short-Term Commercial team in Singapore, taking part in the company’s growth in the LNG industry.  

Main Responsibilities:

  • Being first point of contact regarding Master Sales & Purchase Agreements (MSPAs) matters;
  • Reviewing and negotiating MSPAs with external counterparts in close cooperation with colleagues from commercial, legal, finance, risk and operations teams;
  • Managing the deal process from pre-deal through the post-deal stage: (i) advising on deal structure and risk; (ii) drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements; and (iii) advising on post-deal complications, operational and contentious matters.
  • Analyzing potential issues and non-standard clauses arising under MSPAs;
  • Leading and coordinating with internal stakeholders a proposed solution and negotiation strategy;
  • Timely and efficiently finding solutions in the signed MSPAs during their lifecycle;
  • Ensuring MSPA effective execution;
  • Keeping up-dated database of the existing MSPAs.
Required experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in LNG Contracts or Contracts related role;
  • Strong expertise in LNG commercial contracts and related documents (Short-term Confirmation Notices, side-letters, mid-term and long-term Sale & Purchase Agreements, and Master Agreements.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills;
  • Curiosity, desire to learn new things and go extra mile.
