Our client is a boutique design and construction firm, who provide exceptional design and construction services to an enviable list of real estate owners. They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Designer/Project Manager to join a team of talented professionals who are committed to delivering innovative and personalized solutions for predominantly workplace design.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading design projects from concept through to completion, overseeing junior designers, and collaborating with the construction team to ensure successful project delivery.
Lead design projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to client requirements.
Provide design direction to junior designers and ensure consistency in design standards.
Collaborate with the construction team to ensure successful project delivery.
Attend client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and progress.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and design techniques.
Contribute to the development and improvement of the firm's design processes and standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
At least 5 years of experience in a design role, with a focus on high-end commercial projects.
Strong design and visualization skills, with proficiency in ArchiCAD is a must.
Experience leading and managing junior designers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts to clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Knowledge of construction processes and materials.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
