Job description

Aurex Group is partnering with a leading international real estate investment manager in Hong Kong who has a sizeable portfolio under management locally. They are looking for a Senior Associate in Fund Management. 

Duties

  • Provide timely and accurate forecast financial information and analytics in relation to the performance of the portfolio assets and investment fund to senior management
  • Undertake research and provide analysis on general economic conditions, industrial market conditions and market transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for internal discussions and/ or investor meetings
  • Undertake financial analysis and due diligence on property acquisitions, investment and development projects in Hong Kong
  • Assist in the preparation of internal approval papers for potential acquisitions or investments, leasing transactions, capital expenditure and other business
  • Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the property management system for the existing portfolio assets
  • Assist in the preparation of annual property and fund budgets and reforecasts
  • Assist in the preparation of management, board and investor reports
  • Assist in the planning, analysis and preparation of key ESG initiatives across the properties and the portfolio and coordinate associated reporting to management, board and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the independent valuation process for existing portfolio assets
  • Use self-initiative to enhance financial and property analysis and reporting to senior management team
  • Other duties as required by the Associate Director of Investment Management
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree or above in Finance, Economics, Real Estate  from top universities
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in the real estate sector; Candidates with 10 years of experience will be considered as Senior Associate
  • Strong analytical, financial and accounting skills
  • Strong financial modelling skills and good attention to detail
  • Initiative, critical and strategic thinking, good problem solving skills
  • English report writing skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and team player
