The purpose of the Senior Accountant position is to assist, in a hands-on role, the effective and accurate management of the day-to-day finance operations of the REIT.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all accounts payable related function for its subsidiaries, REIT and the Singapore entities 
• Processing management fee invoices, interco billings, and any ad-hoc invoicing where necessary
• Posting the charges into Yardi and ensuring timely receipt of payments
•  Maintaining the fixed assets register and preparing monthly depreciation journal
• Maintaining the accruals and prepayments schedule and preparing monthly accruals and prepayment journal
• Performing monthly bank reconciliations and ensuring supporting schedules to balance sheet and P/L accounts are updated
• Preparing monthly management accounts including financial reports, monthly consolidated accounts, and monthly actual vs budget analysis 
• Monitoring balances and cash flow requirements for all Singapore-managed entities
• Coordinating, processing, and recording loan interest payments 
• Providing assistance in the preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts 
• Preparing  quarterly GST filings/returns for review by tax consultant
• Providing support on company secretarial / compliance matters
• Providing assistance in the preparation of quarterly and annual returns/filings to MAS and any other returns or surveys as required 

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Accounting with Completed or member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
• Min 5 years’ experience in an Accountant or Senior Accountant role within a similar industry
