Aurex Group is working with a Developer to hire a Safety Manager for their Hong Kong residential projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Developing, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures for all development and construction activities
• Conducting regular safety audits and inspections of development sites and structures
• Ensuring that all materials and equipment used during the development process meet relevant safety standards
• Assessing potential safety hazards and risks associated with development projects, and taking steps to mitigate or eliminate those risks
• Ensuring that all workers involved in development activities receive appropriate safety training and follow all safety protocols
• Working closely with engineers, architects, and other development team members to ensure that safety considerations are incorporated into the design and planning stages of projects
• Keeping up-to-date with relevant safety regulations and standards, and ensuring that all development activities are in compliance with these requirements.

Requirements for this role:

• Registered Safety Officer/ Auditor
• Degree or above in Safety Management / Construction Safety, or equivalent;
• At least 15 to 20 years of experience in safety role, ideally include 5 years or above in management;
• Sound knowledge in occupational health & safety regulations and practices in Hong Kong;
• Proficient in both written & spoken English & Mandarin is preferred
