The Company:

Aurex Group have partnered with a leading Real Estate Investment Manager with a key focus on the highest quality real estate debt and equity opportunities. 

The Position:

Our client is currently seeking an Investment Analyst to assess credit initiatives that originates and underwrites financing transactions across asset classes including industrial, commercial, retail, hotels, and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Investment Directors and the wider investment team on new proposals.
  • Build and maintain financial models from simple cash flow models to large, complex, and structured transactions.
  • Detailed market analysis and assistance in asset underwriting.
  • Assist in the preparation of credit and investment memoranda for internal committees and external syndication / distribution.
  • Ensure effective management of the transaction process, including internal and external stakeholders to meet agreed timeframes.
  • Assimilate complex information with a view to enhancing investment opportunities by effectively communicating the strengths of each deal while recognising risk and demonstrating how this risk has been mitigated.
  • Assist in the negotiation of finance documents.
  • Liaising with sponsors, brokers, agents, lenders, administrators and investment bankers to assist with origination.

Skills and experience:
  • 2-3 years’ experience within finance, credit or investment analysis is preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Property or related field. 
  • Motivated, innovative, detail oriented, with a focus on efficiency
  • Effective and concise communicator at all levels, both verbal and written.
  • A proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills
