We are working on behalf of a leading global trader who are currently looking for a Lead Carbon Origination professional to join their team. This will be a remote hire based in Australia.
 
Responsibilities

• To develop Australia focused carbon offset portfolio for compliance and voluntary markets
• Sourcing and securing a high quality and diversified pipeline of long-term carbon credits contracts with compliance and voluntary market participants
• Designing and rolling out of carbon finance solutions in collaboration with banks and institutional investors
• Setting up the standards for internal due diligence process and assessing new projects within the context of rapidly changing market conditions and regulations
• Working across business units on cross bench offerings including oil & gas and metals
