A soft services provider in Sydney is seeking a General Manager/ Sector Lead to oversee the company's soft services division. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a P&L of $25m and leading a team of soft service professionals, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained in all soft service operations, and developing strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the soft service team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Develop and implement soft service strategies to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Monitor service performance against established benchmarks and take corrective action where necessary.
Collaborate with other departmental managers to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
Develop and manage the soft service budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting financial targets.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the soft service team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in soft service management, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering results.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Knowledge of soft service industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Experience in developing and implementing service improvement initiatives.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
