Aurex Group is working with a global renewable energy project developer with an expanding portfolio of projects across the world. As they continue to grow their Asia footprint, they are actively searching for a Finance Manager for their Korea team.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, and working closely with country, regional and global leadership, the Finance Manager will be repsonsible for:
  • Management Information
    • Produce comprehensive financial and commercial information in a timely manner
    • Prepare all analysis required together with comparatives to budgets / forecasts
    • Ensure all underlying accounting records are maintained in accordance with best practice
    • Continually evaluate and evolve procedures and controls to ensure transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
  • Payroll
    • Check payroll information provided by the payroll bureau
    • Perform adequate checks to ensure the payroll has been correctly calculated
    • Post payroll journals
    • Ensure all payroll associated payments such as local tax, local pensions and World Vision are accurate and paid on time
  • Tax, EC Sales List and Intrastats
    • Perform day to day transactions whilst establishing procedures to be followed for any new companies incorporated
    • Once established, delegate the day to day management of the new company to a member of the team and ensure they are adequately trained and supported
  • Statutory Accounts and Audit
    • Assist the Financial Controller in preparing year end statutory accounts for Lightsource and all its subsidiaries
    • Assist the Financial Controller in preparing all schedules and supporting information required for the audit of the year end statutory accounts and the preparation of corporation tax computations
    • Liaise with the external auditors as required
