A well- estatblished main contractor is looking for an Estimating Manager to lead their tendering department in HK.
Responsibilities:
Lead Tendering Department to prepare joint venture agreement, Pre-bid agreement
Study tender documents including tender specification and drawings
Prepare cost estimation, tender analysis and tender submission
Review compliance and format of the technical tender submission
Develop and liaise with Joint Venture partners for potential tender submissions
Prepare project cost plan and data analysis for potential new civil construction projects
Provide contractual advice to the construction and project team
Coordinate and communicate with project team members, government authorities, QS consultants, contractors, vendors, etc.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying with recognized qualifications of MHKIS or equivalent
At least 10 years' relevant experience in quantity surveying
Familiar with tendering, subletting, purchasing, negotiation and contracts administration for civil projects
Experienced in NEC projects is an advantange
Excellent scheduling, analytical and negotiation skills
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
