Aurex Group (formerly Capstone Recruitment) has partnered with a global fund manager that invested into a real estate developer and operator based in China. This investor will identify and parachute a CFO (Or Head of Finance) into the business, with a renewed focus on growth, as well as operational excellence and governance.
  
The the fund manager and company is searching for someone who can truly partner with the business and deliver financial management as a service within the organisation. This is a role that goes beyond accounting and reporting.
  
The role will report into the founder and fund manager, as such we are looking for someone with previous experience in MNC businesses. This position could be suited to expatriate candidates who speak Mandarin and have extensive experience onshore in China.
  
The China Finance Head/CFO will:

• Act as trusted commercial adviser to the business leadership
• Provide commercial input to business pursuits (pricing, managing foreign exchange and tax risks etc)
• Provide critical finance review of business budgets and forecasts
• Interpret finance data to provide commercial analysis which contributes to business tactics and strategy
• Manage a team of local finance staff
• Act as main contact point for external auditors
• Manage tax compliance for the region
• Ensure that appropriate accounting controls are maintained to protect company assets and ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting information
• Develop understanding of internal finance systems to become a subject matter expert for other users
