Company Background:
My client is an Australian boutique Investment Manager who are currently looking to appoint a Transaction Manager to assist the Head of Investment on real estate investments. The firm have run a series of highly successful value add projects across industrial and logistics and are now currently seeking a Transaction Manager to join their investment team. 

The role will be pivotal in assisting our client achieve key commercial outcomes across its multi-billion-dollar property portfolio.
   
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Transactions the Transaction Manager is responsible for:

• Partnering with senior management to source and identify investment opportunities
• Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support the assessment of investment opportunities as well as divestment's
• Participate in financial due diligence from early stages of deal origination through to negotiation and deal execution
• Prepare investor presentations and capital raising documents, prepare internal approval papers in respect of new investments
• Conduct industry research and provide periodic existing investment reporting. 
• Participate in client teams for acquisitions, development, disposition and portfolio investment strategies;
• Follow trends in the capital markets as they relate to institutional real estate
• Support the investment team on various capital raising related opportunities such as attending pitches and fund-raising meetings  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree qualified in finance, real estate or other relevant degree;
• Strong background in capital transactions
• Experience in the analysis and management of high value property assets/portfolios;
• Competent and experienced in financial modelling and analysis for capital transactions;
• Strong understanding of valuation principles and identification of ‘highest and best use’ asset decisions;
• Advanced stakeholder engagement and communication skills with experience in business case development including presentation to executives/investors;
• Broad knowledge of key asset sectors in the Australian market, including market trends and conditions;
• Strong analytical and numerical skills including excel modelling skills are required for this role; and
• Ability to work in a complex and dynamic team environments.
