Company Overview:
Our client is a leading real estate company that specialises in developing, owning, and managing build-to-rent and student accommodation properties. Their properties are designed to provide high-quality living spaces and experience to their residents. We are looking for Facilities Managers to join their team in Sydney.

As the Facilities Manager, they will work closely with the property management team, maintenance staff, and contractors to ensure that all repairs, maintenance, and renovations are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our properties, including building maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of all equipment and facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building structure.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure that all building systems and equipment are in good working order.
  • Manage the maintenance staff and contractors
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are being followed and that our properties are safe and comfortable for our residents.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our residents, addressing any concerns they may have in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that our properties are compliant with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Circa 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the build-to-rent or student accommodation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and contractors.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
