Our client is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to provide world class property management to key internal stakeholders and external service providers. The Facilities Manager will assist with managing the day-to-day operations of our premium A grade facilities, including the building structure, grounds, equipment, and utilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program for all equipment and facilities.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance and repair needs.
Oversee the repair and maintenance of all equipment and facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and building structure.
Manage relationships with outside vendors and contractors to ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, as well as inventory of equipment and supplies.
Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for the facilities and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Essential
Appropriate tertiary qualifications or trade equivalent
Knowledge of relevant Australian property standards, risk management, WH&S and sustainability initiatives
Minimum of 2 years of experience in facility coordination or supervisor of commercial properties
Exceptional time management /organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of Critical Environment Management
Strong MS Office skills
Highly developed influencing and communication skills
Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills with a can-do attitude.
Experience in the management of external service providers.
Experience in the management and administration of contracts.
