Looking for a dynamic and experienced Asset Manager to join a global real estate private equity firm based in Auckland. 

Due to significant growth of newly acquired assets, my client is seeking to hire an experienced and dynamic Asset Manager in Auckland.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute asset management strategies that align with the firm's investment objectives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of assets, including leasing, operations, and financial reporting.
  • Maximize the value of assets through active management, identifying opportunities for capital improvements, and developing relationships with tenants.
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and assess potential acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Work closely with senior management and investment teams to identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Provide regular reports on asset performance to investors, senior management, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, property managers, and third-party service providers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in property, economics finance, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in real estate asset management, with a focus on commercial and/or industrial properties.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing asset management strategies that have resulted in increased asset value and portfolio performance.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with experience in developing and managing budgets and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the local and global real estate markets, including industry trends and best practices.
  • Knowledge of the New Zealand real estate market is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
