Opportunity:

Our client is a global real estate investment trust, seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join their dynamic team in Melbourne.

This leading Investment and asset management firm possesses a diversified portfolio with assets under management totalling more than AUD $10B. Delivering attractive returns to investors and experiencing unprecedented growth, they are now offering a unique opportunity to work alongside their experienced leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute asset management strategies to enhance the value of our properties and maximize returns to our investors.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify areas for improvement and recommend capital improvements to enhance tenant experience and drive property performance.
• Manage tenant relations, lease negotiations, and lease renewals to maintain high occupancy rates and rental income.
• Analyse market data and trends to identify new investment opportunities and make recommendations to the management team.
• Collaborate with other teams such as property management, leasing, and finance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Prepare and present regular reports to the board of directors on asset performance, market trends, and investment strategies.               

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in asset management, property management, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, team members, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute asset management strategies that enhance property value and maximize returns.
• Strong understanding of real estate market trends and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
