Before transitioning into recruitment, Damian spent more than a decade as a professional rugby player, representing Namibia at three Rugby World Cups and competing internationally. This background instilled a strong work ethic, resilience, discipline, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure—qualities that now inform his approach to talent research and client and candidate engagement.

Alongside his sporting career, Damian gained experience in business management, operations, and entrepreneurship. Having lived and worked across multiple countries, he brings a global perspective, strong relationship-building skills, and a genuine passion for people, business, and the energy industry. Based in Houston, Damian contributes to Aurex Group’s growth and impact in the energy market across the Americas.
